Look at Other Manufacture's Units Before Purchasing this Model.

Summary: Garmin has produced a poor substitute compared to the earlier GPS models they produced. They cheapened the unit by using plain glass instead of non-glare glass as used before. Sunlight (on the dash of my car), makes it is almost impossible to see the images on the screen.
Summary: The device failed at the critical juncture. Fourth of July weekend, we were driving from railegh airport to myrtle beach and the announcement about Arthur the hurricane. The device can't find the myrtle beach. It even didn't find the address or zip code for myrtle beach.
Summary: This product does not work anymore. The screen is frozen with Garmin on it. I try to hit the power button but it will not go off. I have held down the power button for a "soft reset" until it goes blank and then the same screen comes up and it stays frozen. Piece of junk!
Summary: I have had this gps for under 6 months and it's a waste of money. The unit shuts down while in use. I power it back on and it shuts down a minute later. This is not a charging issue as it shows it's fully charged. This even shuts down while it's plugged into the charger.
Summary: I purchased the Garmin GPS brand new near the end of August. It worked great for 3 weeks. On the 4th week, the maps no longer load on the screen, or if they do, the screen freezes up. It still says what the upcoming street is as well as your speed but no visible map. Very disappointing...
Summary: Tells me to go left when I need to go right, tells me to come off motorway and then rejoin and come off at another junction passed my destination tells me I am speeding when I go over 50 mph on motorway.
