Absolute Rubbish - Garmin won't accept return 15 days after purchase
16 June 2012
Summary: This product continually freezes up. Total rubbish and Garmin will only repair not replace after 14 days. I think the 14 days says a lot about the company's own confidence in their product.............Junk
Look at Other Manufacture's Units Before Purchasing this Model.

Summary: Garmin has produced a poor substitute compared to the earlier GPS models they produced. They cheapened the unit by using plain glass instead of non-glare glass as used before. Sunlight (on the dash of my car), makes it is almost impossible to see the images on the screen.
Summary: Just got this thing today and have wasted hours trying to get map updates. First, wouldn't communicate with a Windows 7 system at all. Garmin site gives downloads to updates "USB drivers" but that didn't solve issue so tried my MAC. It connects to unit in MAC but updater won't work.
Summary: I have had this gps for under 6 months and it's a waste of money. The unit shuts down while in use. I power it back on and it shuts down a minute later. This is not a charging issue as it shows it's fully charged. This even shuts down while it's plugged into the charger.
Summary: I purchased the Garmin GPS brand new near the end of August. It worked great for 3 weeks. On the 4th week, the maps no longer load on the screen, or if they do, the screen freezes up. It still says what the upcoming street is as well as your speed but no visible map. Very disappointing...
Summary: I hope this is just a defective gps. It had me driving around in circles looking or 6 local properties. Im a Realtor and was with clients. I had to hook up my very old Garmin gps in order to complete my day. I was very much looking forward to a new gps, but this one certainly didn't deliver.
Summary: The device failed at the critical juncture. Fourth of July weekend, we were driving from railegh airport to myrtle beach and the announcement about Arthur the hurricane. The device can't find the myrtle beach. It even didn't find the address or zip code for myrtle beach.
Summary: I got out on the road, and the touchscreen does not work so I cannot enter addresses. I got home and called Garmin. They told me to hook up to my computer and update it. They did not supply a cord to do this, so I had to find a cord.
