Summary: I wanted to love this so bad slender bright new a massive update from my gps from 2003 but alas it decided I was not allowed to have map updates or to continue on my journey but it just kept overheating and turning off luckily all phones have built in gps along with my trusty old garmin that has not been current for 11 years (purchased "factory" supposedly refurbished no way to identify though)
Summary: My old Garmin Nuvi 1490, which I liked and never had trouble with, died after 3 years so I bought the Garmin Nuvi 3760 LMT to take on a trip to Boston, NYC, and DC. I went with this one because it touted an enhanced pedestrian mode. Since we would be using subways and walking a lot I also purchased the optional City Explorer Maps for each city ($9.99 each). The city explorer maps were completely useless.
Summary: I compared several Garmin GPS models and I picked the 3760lmt was because its spec shows it can runs for 4 hours. After I received the product, I charged the battery to its full. Took it for a test drive. After only 1.5 hours, its battery indicator became one narrow bar with orange color and the Low Battery warning message window pop-up. Surely Garmin could argue the battery life depends on how the device was used.
