Summary: I like the Garmin product but, the Garmin Nuvi 3760LMT does not have the same options as the lesser cost models. It is very generic! I will be buying a different one soon! Not happy or satisfied with this model.
Summary: Got this nuvi3760LMT as a gift. The initial maps and subsequent updates take several hours. Then after you have updated, you never get a comfortable feeling that all was successful. the Sat. does not pin your location on the road. I would be on the main highway where speed limit is 65mph+ and the nuvi would have me on the frontage roadway and posting the lower speed amount.
Summary: HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIS DEVICE AS IT WAS ROUTING ME THROUGH SOME OF THE WORST ROADS AND LANE ASSIST WAS NOT WORKING SO I WOULD GET TO THE DESTINATION AND PULL IN THE PARKING LOT TO LOOK FOR DESTINATION. ALSO THE BLUETOOTH ONLY WORKED 25% OF THE TIME EVEN THOUGH HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH PHONE SIGNAL.
Summary: Ihad an old garmin nuvi that didn't charge so I upgraded to this last year. My old nuvi froze on me in traffic maybe 3 times in 4 years. This one freezes on me 75% of the time that I use it. It seems to be related to the charge/traffic cord which causes the system to overheat. However sometimes it's impossible to reset which is a huge problem if you are in unfamiliar area. Pretty much driving me to just depend on my iPhone unless I travel internationally.
Summary: My old Garmin Nuvi 1490, which I liked and never had trouble with, died after 3 years so I bought the Garmin Nuvi 3760 LMT to take on a trip to Boston, NYC, and DC. I went with this one because it touted an enhanced pedestrian mode. Since we would be using subways and walking a lot I also purchased the optional City Explorer Maps for each city ($9.99 each). The city explorer maps were completely useless.
Summary: Product overheated and stopped working within a few days. It was an excellent product while working but I guess this overheating fault was one of the issues that caused them to be re-conditioned. Would not buy a refurbished product again. Returning the product through AMAZON was smooth and full refund was received. NEXT TIME I WILL BUY NEW.
Summary: I compared several Garmin GPS models and I picked the 3760lmt was because its spec shows it can runs for 4 hours. After I received the product, I charged the battery to its full. Took it for a test drive. After only 1.5 hours, its battery indicator became one narrow bar with orange color and the Low Battery warning message window pop-up. Surely Garmin could argue the battery life depends on how the device was used.
Summary: Early this year, I purchased a nuvi 3790LMT. My previous GPS was a nuvi 760. It had served me well, but I required a new GPS for a long road trip that I was planning, because the 760 did not have enough capacity for routes. I researched on the Garmin website [...], noted the increased route and waypoint capacity of the 3790 as opposed to the 760, and purchased it based primarily on that (but also for voice commands and because I like the new lightweight design).
Probably the Worst Piece of Electronics that I've Ever Owned.

Summary: I recently had to make a 1500 mile drive and bought this GPS to help me out. I don't have a whole lot of experience with GPS units but after roughly twenty hours of using this, I can without a doubt say that it is the worst piece of electronics I have purchased in the last ten years. To get the good things out of the way: (And why I even gave it two stars) - A nice, crisp screen - Small and sleek, easily mistaken for a smartphone - The detour function works well - Mostly...
