Summary: I received a Garmin 3760 as a gift a while ago and since I am planning some travel now I decided to test it out in the Chicago area. After downloading the latest maps from the helpful customer service I tried it out locally.
Summary: Changes screens without authorisation it ei too simple nothing like the one i had before. I had the same unit and it look a lot more durable and way better than this one. It looks like a fake copy
Summary: My husband bought this unit from Best Buy, and spent forever trying to get it to work. He's even more ... technologically challenged than I am, so I just assumed he was doing it wrong, as did he.
Summary: I got left in a lurch when this thing died on me day 2 of my vacation, and Garmin would not overnight me a replacement. Very disappointed.
Pros: Lightweight. Very portable.
Cons: Poor build quality. Software not very intuitive and requires many steps for commonly used simple tasks. Customer support unresponsive to questions, instead responding with a boilerplate response.
Summary: We were all excited when we got our GPS but quickly grew dissilusioned. This GPS loses satellite reception at all times. First day we were using it, it started to recalculate our route all of a sudden, even though we had not failed following its directions!
Summary: I think this is a terrible gps. I currently own a garmin 265wt and the routing on it is much better. For starters, I bought this for the detailed maps. It does have good detailed street names when in a large city, however the gps does not route correctly.
Summary: What has happened to Garmin? They have always stood for quality products, until recently. This is one of two Nuvi 3750 GPS that I have purchased and returned. Each of them worked fine for short periods of time, but always felt very hot to the touch--almost too hot to hold.
