Summary: The Garmin Nuvi 3490LMT is a concentrate of technology that can be used in both automotive and pedestrian thanks to technology and the size of the same. The user-experience of the end user will be excellent, in fact, Garmin has focused on the user, building a user-based browser that will not leave unhappy even the most demanding users. The only downside perhaps is the price, but for all that allows you to do this navigator, I would say that it is not too high.
Pros: Voice Recognition; thickness and design, multi-touch capacitive screen; Technology Photoreal and BirdsEye; 3D Technology Terrain, Technology Guidance 3.0; Can be used horizontally or vertically.
Summary: The Garmin Nuvi 3490 LMT packs every trick in Garmin's book into an ultra-thin chassis, but the high MSRP will deter some.
Pros: The Garmin Nuvi 3490 LMT features an improved interface, snappy performance, and a svelte form factor. Garmin's truly hands-free voice command system is one of the best in the portable navigation business. Lifetime map updates and 3D Traffic Digital service keep this navigator up-to-date for years to come.
Cons: Bluetooth connection doesn't sync with the phone's address book. At $400, this is a very pricey PND.
