Summary: on first time of using this product it (having eventually charged up my garmin nuvi sat nav), on removing it from the wall socket the plug section broke apart and could have been dangerous if not switched off first. The cable (1m long) seems OK but plug is cheap & useless - dont buy it.

Summary: I bought this unit from another retailer and used it for 40 minutes on the battery before it shut itself down without warning. Even when connected to the power supply it would not switch back on. I returned this to the retailer and received an identical replacement.
Summary: Having been a happy Tom Tom user for a number of years, I bought the Nuvi 310 as a new replacement device when the Tom Tom broke. I'm now wishing I hadn't! The Nuvi 310 is totally unreliable in my opinion.
Summary: Received this as a present recently and tested it round local routes I know, up to 50 miles. The unit is nice to use, but has one major flaw. It's primarily a Satnav unit and the one thing it CANNOT do is route find. I have one sample route which I kept to send to their tech support.
Summary: I just purchased this as a present for a friend of mine and I have to say its been a big disappointment. I had a chance to see it get tested out during a holiday in Worcestershire The first major flaw is that there is no sensible way of avoiding motorways.
