Summary: I've had a GARMIN since I first used a GPS. A fairly new version without the bells and whistles that have been added on thru the years with other more expensive models that I don't really need. Very cute, basic, simple, quick to set on the directions and search really easy.
Summary: I use this as a secondary GPS on a motorcycle. Yes, only for fair weather, as it's not waterproof. But beside my Garmin eTrex HCx it serves a great role = maps! I've found the basemap to be very accurate, including for remote forest service roads!
Summary: This product works and for the money will get you where you want to go, and does allow a one time update to current POI and maps. It does not provide all the sophisticated route customization options that more expensive units provide, limited to Most Direct routing or Fastest Routing.
Summary: The product works fine. In comparison with other GPSs, it lacks some useful functions like waypoints. But is practical to carry it in your pocket, because of its small size. It doesn't come with any case to protect it, so you need to buy one.
Summary: I didn't give a five-star rating because the unit makes an infernal beeping sound when it nears a traffic camera. I'm a good driver who doesn't have to worry about the traffic cameras anyway, so this is just an annoyance to me.
Summary: Was looking to upgrade a 5 year old Garmin unit and this has been great thus far, Small and lightweight - perfect for my small car and very accurate. I order the AC charger and case as well for the unit.
Summary: I wanted to use my smartphone as a GPS navigation device. But I don't want to bother with the data plan. So I decided to have a stand-alone GPS navigator. This product works great. I can also charge it with my USB cable. It is easy to use and simple to operate.
