Summary: The Garmin Nuvi 30 was my purchase. Bought it to go on long trips. Haven't really had a chance to use it long distance as of yet, but even in short distance, it loses signals. I didn't know it was going to be so small. What I do like about is that even though it's small you the graphic is clear and the direction are large enough to see, also the sound is good. Other that I love the fact that the shipping was very fast.
Summary: The product works fine. In comparison with other GPSs, it lacks some useful functions like waypoints. But is practical to carry it in your pocket, because of its small size. It doesn't come with any case to protect it, so you need to buy one.
Summary: I like to use a small, no frill, GPS and this one is great. My only complaint is that Garmin has recycled the battery warning beep from a previous model to use it as a friendly exit reminder beep in this model. It's an annoying sound that I don't like hearing every time my exit is approaching.
Summary: This Gps is so easy to use with basic functions and it so light! you could put it inside your pocket, it comes multilingual so i had no problem having it in spanish, bought a memory card with Venezuelan Maps and it worked perfectly, so it probably will do with other maps. While Navigating it lost a couple of times the satellital signal, but i guess that is pretty normal on GPS? anyways, its cheap and i like it!
Summary: We've used our Garmin GPS on many occasions. I especially like using it to find hotels and restaurants in unfamiliar towns. It's important, though, to have a general idea of where you're going to make sure the GPS is correctly guiding your route. I always carry a back up paper map. One time, the GPS told us to go west on an interstate highway when the correct route was east.
