Met my expectations and the back up camera was easy to install
28 November 2014
Summary: Met my expectations and the back up camera was easy to install. Expensive though. The same errors as the rest of the GPS's on streets. As all previous Garmins once off the route it wants to take you the long way through a town to get back on your route.
Summary: I love the backup camera being integrated. I put the camera in my horse trailer to watch my horses as I travel with them. Camera reception is great but not in low light. It had no IR emitters so I need to turn on a light at night. GPS is just too big for on top of the dash. I did a custom install underneath. I don't see how anyone can like a 7" screen.
Summary: this is my second unit. the first was quickly replaced by the seller as the first did not connect well with its camera when it arrived. Now that it is installed I have to say that it is a pretty good back up camera and a poor GPS and poor phone speaker. I have a smaller garmin GPS for my other car and have owner multiple Tomtom devices. this is a weak logic unit. All i can tell you about it is that it seems to have weaker or simpler logic about what way it takes you.
Summary: Super easy to install backup camera and pair, however the camera has really really bad resolution on the screen. The GPS will randomly turn on and off while driving and the camera only activates the GPS to turn to the rear view screen only about 80% of the time. Overall happy, but a lot of improvements could be made.
