Summary: Garmin made a killer GPS in the Nuvi 2798LM. As a hands-off voice recognition GPS it works wonderfully. However the included rear-view camera is not good at all. The installation instructions are pretty vague (thankfully I'm a tech guy and had no problems with it).
Summary: The camera interface cable that connects the camera to the transmitter in about 60", does no good when you have a truck. Garmin sells a 50' extension cable for 29.99, so add that to your price truck owners.
Makes travel more enjoyable and saves time searching for places to I want to go while enroute.

Summary: I like the size of screen it has. It saves seconds while focusing at it for the information I need. I really like it for the 'current speed limit' while I'm driving in unfamiliar areas while I travel (I'm kind of paranoid of getting a ticket because I missed a sign in those unfamiliar areas).
Summary: This wonderful product solved 2 problems with a car I had just bought. Car came with sucky Uconnect 4.3 system and lacked Bluetooth handsfree and Backup camera. Adding a Bluetooth receiver solved one issue but I still wanted to have a backup camera installed.
Summary: So far so good after less than a week. The backup camera was a relative breeze to install, with the only real hassle being running the camera wire from the inside to outside of the car and firmly mounting the camera on the exterior of my Acura TL's backside.
Summary: Overall, a very nice GPS unit. Screen is huge. User interface is better that others. Route guidance seems friendlier than older GPS units I have used. I was surprised by "turn left at Chevron station" rather than the "turn left in quarter mile".
Summary: I bought this model Garmin for the backup camera. The back view does have a small delay when you put it into reverse, but since I don't jam it in gear & hit the gas pedal the delay is not an issue. This is my third active Garmin GPS and I am still committed to the brand & quality.
Summary: I give this five stars because it does everything that is advertised. The review camera was important to us so we had it installed by a local auto electronics store that are experts in this type of installation. In just 45 minutes they had it installed, connected and working the first time.
"Do Everything" GPS You Don't Have To Squint To See
David Head, Amazon
14 June 2015
Summary: This is a great unit, big enough for me to see without squinting, and all the features you could want in a GPS. I haven't set up the "traffic" functionality yet, nor the backup camera since the new car has one built in (didn't know that beforehand, or I'd have saved and gotten a different model that...
Summary: We have used this GPS device for a year now, so I am comfortable in reviewing it. It has its pluses and minuses. - Pluses o The large screen is really nice for glancing at as you drive down the highway. o It provides constant monitoring (by satellite positioning) of your speed.
