Summary: I have had a few GPS units but this by far is the best in every aspect. The 7" display is so large and clear, one quick glance and Michelle's soothing voice and you are on your way. Very happy with it.
Summary: I really like the Garmin 7" screen GPS system. It is easy to set up and use. The directions are accurate and easy to follow. I love the bigger screen. The one problem is that the suction cup does not hold on many of the surfaces besides the windows of the car. Otherwise I am very happy with this GPS.
Summary: Suction capacity of the holder is not sufficient for this 7" display which releases often while moving on un even roads. Otherwise it was helpful during my recent trip to SFO,SJC,LAX,LAS,SAN via I-1,I-101,I-5,I-15 etc.
Summary: I read many reviews about this unit, some were very negative but I haven't had any problems with mounting it on my bean-bag dash mount that I used with my 50LM. The ball mount slipped perfectly into the back mount of the unit, didn't have to use a sock or apply so much pressure that I thought would break the mount. After reading the owners manual downloaded from Garmon, I had no problem putting the 2757 thru its paces. Very easy to use while driving.
Summary: Admittedly, a long time since I purchased my first Garmin. Big, sharp screen easier on older eyes. Much improved vocabulary makes looking almost totally unnecessary. Gives address options, warns of upcoming school zones. Automatically splits screen to give additional guidance through difficult interchanges. And, you can update your maps four times a year for the life of the product!
Summary: Main improvements for me over others that I've had (Garmin and Tom-Tom) are 1)the ease of use of touch screen control, 2) the ability to plan ahead with multiple via points to customize your route, and 3) a display that is very customizable. In this case we used the new friction mount. Previously, we used the bean-bag type. There is a bit more wobble with the new one, but it stays in place on dash.
Summary: I have owned both Garmin and TomTom over the last 15 years. I drive 30 thousand miles per year and the big screen, menu choices and multiple screen information options is excellent. Best of the bunch!
