Summary: The Garmin was very good and very easy to use. I have a newer Garmin now, and one of the drawbacks of this one was that you couldn't adjust the brightness through the power on slider button like you can with newer models. Also, the "don't operate while moving" flasher is annoying, even if in the best intentions. What if you have a passenger operating the Garmin?
Summary: It's a 2010 so maps are not updated. Loses satellite easily and alerts on turns are delayed so I end up missing a turn. Still useful on short trips though so works for me although I use my phone's GPS more than I use the nuvi. I don't like the cord since it's now rigid and no longer flexible.
Summary: Bought a Garmin Nuvi 265WT back in 10/09. Been using it since. I went to Lubbock Texas and was looking for a Chevron gas station and it was recently closed, not bad. The next time it did this i was near Alpine or Grand Junction, Colorado, I was searching for a Chevron and it lead me to a house in the middle of no where. Regular updates are very necessary and mine was up to date at the time.
Summary: This GPS is a great unit. The widescreen has nice color, clarity, and contrast and the navigation ability is spot on within about 50ft. The unit is very well constructed and the touchscreen works like a charm. The speed measurement feature matches my speedometer perfectly. My only complaint is the traffic feature. It only offers traffic info on the major interstates and when it does it gives little detail.
Summary: Overall, the product is performing well except for the bluetooth connectivity. Sometimes it connects automatically to my phone when I get in the car and sometimes it doesn't. The main reason for buying the product was for the bluetooth feature.
