Excerpt: The Garmin nuvi 265WT is a portable GPS device and comes with a 4.3 inch Widescreen. The Garmin nuvi 265WT supports Bluetooth devices, which is an excellent feature, as it allows for hands-free calling in any automobile. The Garmin nuvi 265WT is small enough to fit in a pocket, but the widescreen is large and clear, allowing it to be visible even in sunlight. As a whole, the device was easy to set up, and it is extremely user-friendly.
Summary: Excellent product, works well....one issue with the power button on top being a bit tricky to use, it gets stuck sometimes, but overall good value for the item. Used it on a 90 mile journey and it guided us quite well.
Summary: Well, the product worked great the first few times of use. Probably long enough to get me to thinking what a good, solid purchase I had made-a bit to do with luck,as we all may know. Then, ultimately, within about a month, I noticed it wasn't so steady a machine as I had thought, until one day, while jiggling it-to make it work The wire just came right off, rendering it useless.
Summary: I like these because of the small profile . They slide easily into a pocket . I ride a bicycle a lot for exercise and these can fit nicely on the handle bars , and with its bicycle mode it works great . It also has a pedestrian mode . The display is very good , and easy to see . The one thing I think could be better is the size of the internal storage . Its pretty small . If you just want a nice GPS to use occasionally this may be for you .
Summary: The Garmin was very good and very easy to use. I have a newer Garmin now, and one of the drawbacks of this one was that you couldn't adjust the brightness through the power on slider button like you can with newer models. Also, the "don't operate while moving" flasher is annoying, even if in the best intentions. What if you have a passenger operating the Garmin?
Summary: It's a 2010 so maps are not updated. Loses satellite easily and alerts on turns are delayed so I end up missing a turn. Still useful on short trips though so works for me although I use my phone's GPS more than I use the nuvi. I don't like the cord since it's now rigid and no longer flexible.

Summary: Bought a Garmin Nuvi 265WT back in 10/09. Been using it since. I went to Lubbock Texas and was looking for a Chevron gas station and it was recently closed, not bad. The next time it did this i was near Alpine or Grand Junction, Colorado, I was searching for a Chevron and it lead me to a house in the middle of no where. Regular updates are very necessary and mine was up to date at the time.
