Summary: I was using my phone but was using a lot of data in the plan . So I got this GPS as long as there is no open outward trace us have it . It is all hid under the seat not seen . Then they leave the car alone . So in an unknow area its there to use instead of a large amount of data usage. The GPS itself is easy to use ,it talks to me . It updates itself on start up . It tells me if Iam going to fast for a posted road . your speed flashes in red .

Summary: excellent device, I already had one of these, but he had broken, so I had to buy another he is the best GPS on market has an excellent map, very detailed and complete the design of the map is clear and easy to read, with good speed calculation Being small has an excellent portability and can be easily used in walking, etc.
Summary: We purchased this for our 10 hour road trip. I don't know how we survived without it before! It is extremely accurate and easy to use. We were able to search for food genres in the area we were at when deciding on meals and even gas stations! It was AMAZING! It even showed us what the speed limit was where we were and how fast we were actually driving! I LOVE this thing! It has soooo many features! From voice to view! We highly recommend this!
Summary: This is so easy to use! Now I hardly ever get lost! lol Living in NY, sometimes the turning rules are a little different (ie: main roads and service roads). If I am required by the GPS to make a right, the law may prohibit it. But, it figures it out and gives me a new route. This is saving me so much time and money! I love that when I am craving the new Wendy's fries I can hit a button and find out how close I am! And when I feel guilty, I can find a local gym.
Summary: Love the new Garmin. It not only tells you normal GPS info, but even speaks the name of the streets! It is easy to find nearby gas, shopping, etc and the Bluetooth hands-free phone feature is awesome: clear, distinct, easy! Well worth it!
A good, basic GPS -- but with many glaring bugs and issues

Summary: UPDATE: The biggest issue I had with the GPS was its problematic Bluetooth support. This appears to NOT be a Garmin issue, but instead an Apple issue with their iPhones. After growing tired of multiple bugs with the iPhone, I switched to an Android phone. Bluetooth worked instantly and automagically every time I entered my car and never dropped off, though the touchscreen delay is still present. Apple's proprietary BlueTooth stack on their phones causes issues.
Summary: This GPS takes me on so many strange routes in my area, I'd never trust it all by itself to guide me in a new town. Also it doesn't tell you how to start. It just says "Go to designated route," & it shows you a map. It has FM traffic, but it doesn't know the difference between a traffic light at the end of a highway or a momentary slowdown & a very bad traffic jam, so it often wants you to detour needlessly.
Summary: We replaced our previous Garmin with this model because it has traffic updates and road closings, which we really needed to know about on our last trip. I love it for finding specific stores I want to shop at: just look up the addresses on the computer and put them into Garmin, and it takes you right there. A few times it didn't recognize the address, but otherwise its great.
