Summary: Just kidding about the blender! First venture into a full feature GPS. Have been quite happy with other Garmin electronics (depth/fish finders; handheld GPS etc.) in the past plus -this was on sale when I ordered it.
Summary: I am still learning how to use the Garmin GPS and used it for the first time today and I was able to hear the directions clearly, which is a real plus for me since I think I'm a little hard of hearing.
Summary: When I first received my Garman, I thought all I had to do was hook it up and all would be fine. I soon learned that the maps were not updated yet. It took a while to figured out that I had to go on the Garmin web page to download and up date maps. After doing so, it works very well.
good unit, great display, could use a few improvements

Summary: Easy to see, picks up satellites quickly, easy to use. Would have given it 5 stars if changing legs of a route were easier and voice feature was better. But for the price hard to beat. Ordered a waterproof case to use on the motorcycle, too.
Summary: I find the Garmin nuvi 2595LMT to be easy to use, accurate, and it has lifetime maps. It is a great value but not "cheap". The voice command is fair to good, but not anywhere near as accurate as Siri or other speech recognition products. It acquires satellites quickly. Some GPS units don't.
Summary: Tested this out going somewhere I knew where I was going. Probably isn't the best thing to do but did find out it took routes that were really weird but would have gotten me there. The only thing is it had restaurants listed that has been gone for awhile.
Summary: All in all, a nice GPS. Big, clear display. The only drawbacks are that it's difficult to completely set up (I still haven't figured it all out), I wasn't able to register it, and I can't download map upgrades due to my Mac being version 10.6.8, a pretty new OS but not new enough for Garmin.
