Summary: What a loser. I asked for Costco in Tuscon, it was sending me 8 miles down the road and as I was driving, it took me right past a Costco Store that was only about 2 miles away. Couldn't find it though. I wanted an In n Out Burger, it sent me 6 miles the wrong direction, instead of 1.5 miles the right direction. Searched for the Social Security office in Albany, OR -- found one 590 miles away in CA.
Summary: I bought a new Garmin GPS 2595 Nuvi. I have owned Garmins since they came out and have 2 others. The screen is large and clear.... great sound. WHEN IT WORKS. After 2 days and in the middle of nowhere the screen went black. I had to find a store to exchange it with the same model. The second model lasted for 5 weeks and the same problem happened. No one could explain why.
Summary: I bought this at Best Buy but I want to warn buyers on Amazon. I travel a lot for business, and I often rent cars and do hundreds of miles a week. I bought this unit and tested it close to home first to see how it performed. The first time out it told me there was construction on the freeway in front of me and advised me to exit to a side street.
Summary: I bought one of these two weeks ago -this morning it refused to power up when it was connected to vehicle power. It bought it primarily for the Mexico maps - what a disappointment. I touched "Where To" and was offered "State or Country" - why not offer country first and then state? I got to Mexico but when I enterd the city it could not find it. (The city is a "World Heritage Site" and certainly should have been on the map.
Summary: I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 2595 which shipped on May 16th of this year. Shortly after I received it one day it just quit working in my car. My cell phone would still charge in the same outlet. The next day my GPS worked again just fine. About a month later it did the same thing. Now it has done the same thing again. It is totally a worthless GPS. Its not the cord as another cord doesn't work either. It is the GPS unit. The next day it works fine again.
Summary: What amazes me about this device and the reviews of it is that the good reviews say very little about the poor functionality of the Traffic reports. On my older Garmin NUVI 680 I can see traffic delays and get re-routed automatically and without having to page through screens as I drive.
Summary: This is my fourth and last Garmin. While satellite aquisition is faster, and the screen is bigger, that is the end of the positives regarding this unit. It consistantly takes me on random tours of cities, including taking me through downtown Munich, on a route which it had previously (3 times) taken the freeway. This caused my to miss my flight back to the states, and cost me much more than the cost of this piece of junk to rebook.
Summary: I have several Garmin units, and this is the one that made me change my opinion of Garmin. I purchased the 2595LMT yesterday at Costco and immediately I noticed that its quality is far inferior to my 4 year old 765T, still I was excited to try out an updated Garmin. Once I turned it on, I noticed that the screen resolution was very poor which was a huge let down. My older 765 had more resolution then the 2595lmt ; which is touted to be in there advanced series?
Do not buy if you want to use the Phone/Bluetooth feature

Summary: Bluetooth phone feature is unusable. Even with all volumes controls set to max and automatic volume control disabled, the bluetooth phone volume is far too low and virtually inaudible. I drive with all windows closed and have a quiet new car, still the Nuvi2595's phone feature is unusable because of the low volume. I bought two Nuvi2995LMTs, both have the exact same problem. Internet reviews indicate that many others are having this low bluetooth volume problem.
