Summary: I was very skeptical about buying a refurbished anything but I couldn't be happier with my 2595, It looked brand new in the box and it works great. This is my third Garmin and I was very impressed with the 5 inch screen and the voice command and Bluetooth, it is great with the lifetime updates can't find a better buy.
Summary: This unit does not provide the best routes. I have followed some routes this unit has given me and after driving them and becoming familiar with the area have found shorter more direct routes. This has happened on several occasions. I have kept up with the map updates. I bought this unit in January of 2014 and it has stopped working. Won't turn on. I am going to need to request a repair. Fortunately, (I guess) it is still under warranty.
Summary: Very good unit. I've used it a few times on my trips to San Antonio and Austin and I haven't had any issues when using this little gps. Besides I purchased it in july, with a 70 dollars rebate. Now, what's included: - car charger - usb cable to get the free map updates - suction mount What I liked about this unit is that it came with recent maps, I haven't updated mine yet...but when I do, I will use the lifetime updates!
Summary: I'll reserve comment on the product until I can update the maps and actually use it, but don't see that happening anytime soon.
Pros: Looks like a nice unit. ADVERTISES great function for the price.
Cons: Unlisted system requirements demanding cable or highest spreed DSL in order to obtain map updates advertised with product. So if you live in a rental in which you can't install the wiring for one of those and are using a legacy wimax modem, you don't get everything you paid for.
Summary: I have just moved to a new city and the Garmin has helped me locate all the places I needed to go to get things done, eg. bank, stores, courthouse, doctors etc. I don't think I could have found all these places without it. It is so simple and easy to use...I never leave the house without it.
