Pros: It has a friendly user interface and includes many useful pre-installed applications. I the screen is clearly visible day and night. The auto night view is especially useful. Standard pedestrian and bicycle modes Make it versatile.
Cons: The included suction mount is unacceptable as it falls off unexpectedly and frequently. Downloading maps was confusing.
Summary: This a pretty good GPS for anyone. Easy to read and understand, clear voice, and a high quality screen picture. The widescreen really makes it easier to read, especially when you're driving and need to pay attention to the road. It seems to have a little trouble finding some more unknown areas or very complicated subdivisions but to be honest its close enough (1 street off in my neighborhood).
Pros: Just got this about 3 weeks ago. So easy to set favorite locations by just typing in the address (it thinks for you as you type); I don't find it blocking my view at all; voice is non-irritating; makes adjustments quickly if you take wrong turn.
Cons: For an old lady, took me a while to figure out all the instructions. Had to go to web site to print up complete booklet, but after that, no problems at all for what I need it for. Don't use other fancy features, so can't comment on them.
Summary: Large screen, easy to learn, and you can't beat the price for the refurbished units. Only complaint is typical of all GPS units, especially Garmin: doesn't handle rural roads and highways well. Highway or Hwy? County Road or CR?. You have to enter an address exactly the way they list it.
Summary: This product works very good. Espescially after I installed the updates. Only problem I've had is it tells you to turn down roads that arent really roads in the wildlife refuge. They were private roads with gates or muddy roads, but I pushed the detour button and it put me back on track. Great product, easy to use. I never had one and havent had to read the directions.
