Summary: If the user sets a zoom level on ANY Garmin GPS, the GPS will CHANGE the zoom level AUTOMATICALLY depending on the drivers speed!!! This means if you like to zoom in and see individual street names, you cannot. The zoom level will change right back. This "feature" cannot be turned off.
Crossing from US to Canada with an active gps...Yay!

Summary: I love the Garmin nuvi 2555LT with the North American plan. It's easy to use and avoids the problem other gps's have by giving you a small box at the top to quickly enter the city when you are offered too many options. Directions are clear, easy to see and hear.
Summary: Gets me where I'm going without any hassles. Pretty easy to use. Touch pad can be somewhat non responsive. Have to touch firmly for it to work. Finds addresses fast and can find places by category as well.
Summary: I bought this item about 2 years ago. Traffic update feature is a fairly good. The cable connector became dodgy after 1 year. The point behind the GPS unit started making unstable connections.
I really love this thing helps me out so much no more ...

Summary: I really love this thing helps me out so much no more paper maps. Im sick of those things taking up space in my glove box well no more. Just make sure you yearly up date your maps to keep current which that's free .
Summary: A bit disappointing. Seems not to work as well at either Google or Apple navigation apps. Almost always locates my destination on the wrong side of the street. How in the world can that happen? With great navigational apps.
Summary: The traffic updating on this makes it worthwhile - and that the narration uses Street Names. Look for those two features if you are going to purchase any GPS. This one also has audio books on the unit - ! But - I can't for the life of me figure out how to download the books on the GPS
