Summary: I've had other GPS instruments including the one in my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder but I like this the best. It just seems more "intuitive" if that's the right word to use. There are a couple of changes that Garmin made compared to older models but they were easy to accomodate. It has everything that I need and it's lifetime updates are a real plus. Easy to carry around, especially on long trips when I rent cars.
Summary: I have had about 6 different Garmin GPS products in the last 10 years. This one is easy to see, easy to hear, has lifetime map updates, and unlike some of the older models, this will let you pick the "dashboard" so to speak. If you use one, you know that you usually have windows on the bottom which tell you two things. Time you will arrive, and your speed. Well, finally, they are putting in some options.
Summary: definitely would recommend the product. the volume has a very loud setting which has been a problem for me with pievious GPS systems. That is a big plus!! Also has an extra big screen and many other features.
Works well, but it may not have memory to allow downloading entire maps

Summary: I rented a car when I went to a wedding last year, and it came with a Garmin GPS. I'd never used one before, and was delighted to have it help me find my way around a strange town. When I got home I decided to get one for our daughter, who will be going away to college this coming fall. She's never driven much except for in our county, and her college is a couple of hours away.
Summary: Get it brand new. Then you have to log in to update and register, but to do that, you have to download some app into your computer which stays there. (Probably watching my stock purchases) then it takes a LONG time to update the "new" unit and it still try's to take me on a road that doesn't exist to get home. I bought new because the updates were so stupidly expensive, and it's still wrong.
