I would recommend this product, the price is fantastic.

Summary: This Nuvi was an excellent price, the display is very sharp and easy to see. The features are great and so is the ease of use. The only thing that I have found at fault is when I set it up to go somewhere it took me an old way instead of the updated shorter way to my location. The GPS is updated so I do not understand why it put this longer older fashion step in. I like the size of this GPS and so far happy with it.
Summary: This is a good GPS, but the traffic feature seems to only cause more problems. I purchased it before I moved to LA, thinking it could help me avoid traffic, but since there's traffic almost everywhere, the GPS can't make a decision quickly enough and always reroutes me at the most inconvenient times, often sending me in circles. Might work well in areas with moderate traffic, but avoid if you'll be somewhere really congested.
Summary: I had one of these that I burned out,(my fault, not garmin's) so I bought one on here. It is a great GPS for the money. I use it on roads I am already used to as I like the mph reading and it keeps me aware of the speed limit on most roads. The one I burned out would freeze up once in awhile when I would cause it to re-calculate, the one I bought has a memory card in it and I have noticed I can make several wrong turns and it has not froze up yet, pretty good considering...
Summary: This is a great navigator for the price I paid. It is fast in routing and re-routing, it is easy to configure and to handle. One only minor issue. I tried the Italian voice and it is not very good, in particular it spells the street names in a way that is somewhat difficult to understand. But I guess this is not very important for a product sold in the US.
Summary: This is my first portable GPS, so I have nothing to compare it to. I have used it successfully several times, so I like it. Since I am well over 40, I am not as intuitive with this stuff as I've seen that my kids seem to be. I find that if I don't understand something or some function, the instructions aren't much help and leave a lot to be desired. So trial and error seem to be the method to learn its features.
More features than you'll ever need, easy to use, good value.

Summary: Fairly accurate, maps load fast and recalculates quickly without a lot of turn around nonsense. I like how the "near me" function breaks down searches into categories; for example when you're searching for a restaurant you can search by type of cuisine such as French or Italian. However I've found it doesn't find gas stations that I happen to know exist. Controls are simple and intuitive, you won't need the manual. Saves all of your preferences automatically.
Summary: The GPS works fairly well. I bought the Garmin Nuvi 255wt (with traffic alert). It tells you about traffic when you plug in the car charger adapter; yes, you have to have it plugged in physically in order to receive traffic info. I also like how it has an "EcoRoute" function that allows you enter in your car info and thus save on fuel. Two things I don't like about this GPS: 1) You cannot enter in zip code in place of city.
