Older Garmin GPS devices are much better than the newer models.

Summary: Old tried and true Garmin GPS is the way to go. Stay away from the new ones if you can because so many features and capabilities have been removed from the new ones like the 40 and 50 series. Don't know about the others but this unit is solid, dependable and is geocaching friendly.
Summary: Maps are outdated. Newer models have unlimited map updates. Works good though for local places. . . As long as you can enter the address. I used my phone to find addresses then entered into GPS.
Worked good for someone who does not depend on technology

Summary: This GPS was good to my standard. I used it before and liked the easiness of use. I cautioned you about the map which is old. If your city is remodeled a lot, it may cause you some headache to navigate.
Summary: I bought this as a gift for my son. He hasn't used it yet. The seller shipped it fast and I saved over $100. I know as I purchased one about 2 years ago and paid around $155.00 for it. It was in great condition and I followed instructions on how to reset it.
Summary: This is my 3rd of essentially the same model (one had bluetooth, which I never use). Have 'em now in every car in the family. Its functionality is pretty basic, and it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of a newer Garmin I tried (see my review of the 1350LMT), but it works very well.
