Summary: It is very good value for money and easy of use , but it does not have many features which more expensive models have( Audio prompts of streets). It does take a while to relocate the address and there was times in which you follow the instructions and it has to recalculate again and again to get you...
Summary: A good basic GPS. Nothing fancy but should satisfy most needs. When my order was placed in August the Amazon price was $99.99 which I considered a good buy. Since then, the price today, 9/12/09, has risen to $199.99 which is no longer a good deal for this discontinued model.
Summary: This GPS system is good for the price. I had my time comparing GPS devices below the USD$100.00 and I found this one on a 'hot deal' here. Pros: -Small -Good price -Bilingual (English/Spanish) -Loud speaker -Pedestrian mode Cons: -Lack of headphones jack -Lack of text-to-speech functionality...
Summary: I bought this for use on my bicycle as I am inclined to make long excursions and get lost. I already have an older model, 350, which I use in my car and I like very much. I was looking for something around $100 and finally found this discontinued model at $130.
Summary: This is a great little GPS unit for $129, however I'm extremely frustrated with Amazon and how it communicates the latest mapping software on each device. How many sites do I have a research to figure out that in 2008, this NUVI 250 has 2006 mapping software?
Summary: I have owned a TomTom ONE, and this Nuvi 250, and I prefer the TomTom, however there are SOME features the Nuvi has which I would prefer. When you get to your destination, the Nuvi tells you it is on the "Left", or "Right".
Nice product, fine screen and voice but very basic to use.

Summary: Great screen and voice directions. Well made product. Probably the best make. This is my first motoring GPS and compared to my hand held aviation GPS, the route planning facilities are absolutely dire. It would be nice to be able to transfer Google Maps custom routings into the n250.
Summary: I picked up the pink Garmin nuvi 250 as a lightning deal at a very good price. I like the ease of use, that I can change the driving icon (a blue-nosed reindeer! The Black Pearl!), the search functions for addresses, as well as POIs along the way. Those were all great.
