Summary: I thought this unit was really good, until I went to Calgary this past week. Updated maps 2 weeks ago. Took 1/1/2 hrs. for a 30 minute drive from the airport because the unit took me round and round and through downtown. Put in another address and it wanted to take me to a city in BC.
Summary: Product failed out of the box. System is locked in GPS Simulation mode which prevents it from acquiring satilites. (this renders the unit useless). Updated software and did a hard reset which did not fix the problem. According to several websites, this is a common issue with Garmin.
Bought 2475 for Europe maps but not enough space on device for Europe maps!
Amazon Customer, Amazon

Summary: I just bought the Garmin 2475 for an upcoming trip to Europe. I turn on the device and register it. It tells me I have map updates to install. I attempt to install them and Garmin tells me that there is not enough space on my brand new 2475 to install the Europe maps?
Summary: I have to admit that I was a loyal Garmin Customer, but their quality has really slipped in the past few years. As one reviewer said, the lifetime traffic comes with advertisements, but you would know that if you've owned these products for any time.
Summary: First - some good words about the device. One of the best features of the device is that it has a power/sleep button that places it in sleep and wakes it up almost instantly. This is a great power saving feature.
Summary: We purchased the Nuvi 2475LT GPS for our trip to Europe. After 3 hours of frustration we returned the product. We wanted to plan our routes in advance and found it very difficult, impossible really, to accomplish anything.
Summary: This has been my fourth and last Garmin purchase. The worst part of this thing is the map update process. The geniuses at Garmin decided to include only 7.3GB of internal storage when the required space for US and European maps is something like 7.4GB.
Summary: I suspect this review will be dismissed because I can not imagine how anyone can possibly rate this product above 1-star. But I'll write it anyway. I am a former Director of Technology at a web start-up. So I want you to know I am anything BUT a technologically challenged person.
Summary: Purchase of a Garmin GPS (the Nüvi 2475LT) lead inexorably to a two-day nightmare. I strongly urge you: if you own a Mac, don't purchase a Garmin. You'll never be able to update your maps. Here is my story.
Summary: I purchased this Garmin GPS to use throughout Italy. The first bad thing about this GPS is the fact that Garmin offers free map updates for three months, but if you try to update all of Europe you have to input more memory into the device.
