Summary: I bought this after my recent move to be stationed in Germany. As any other GPS it's not a 100% accurate. However, after the update it has gained more accuracy. I like that it has great options to modify and customize the screen and views. I also like the bluetooth feature. Battery life has been decent and traffic updates started working after the update. Be prepared to waste some time on the update since it's at least 1gb.
Had one but bought the new one before traveling to France

Summary: I already have and was using a nuvi but wanted to be sure I had the latest updated road while I took my wife on a 2 week trip to France. During our trip I drove from Paris to the NW corner then South to the Mediterranean. Popped over to Spain the back to Nice the back North to Paris. During the trip I drove equally on the (A,N and D) roads. In almost every case the GPS was spot on and where it was off a bit we were easily able to sort out the confusion.
Summary: First of all, I am a former navigator that served in the USAF. I viewed a GPS for driving as a waste of money as long as I had a map. That was until I tried driving in France a few years ago. The highways weren't much of a problem, but once I exited and tried finding my way from village to village and encountered the roundabouts, I was lost. This led to a lot of frustration and short tempers as we lost valuable sight seeing time.
Summary: Two-and-a-half stars. At over $200, I really wanted to like it. It does look good; it is small, lightweight, and easy to carry; it has good battery life; and when it works it performs its functions adequately. I purchased this product for use in walking the streets of Paris and London on a recent trip to Europe.
Good unit for navigating in Europe although software is not easy.

Summary: We bought this to take on a trip to Portugal - this unit has international maps. Downloading the map updates was not intuitive and we got error messages but Portugal downloaded OK anyway. Has a large amount of locations that can be accessed by name (rather than address) which is good because a lot of places we went didn't have real addresse. Worked fine in Europe for driving, walking routes we had less success with.
Summary: My wife and I were planning a trip to Europe in April 2013 and we had arranged for a rental car to drive around Germany. Garmin touted their "European GPS Coverage" in the Nuvi 2475 so I bought one. Also, since we planned to walk in urban areas, I also bought the full-coverage European map coverage as a download. It featured a "walking tour" mode for pedestrian use.
Summary: I am a convert from Tom Tom. I bought this to take on an upcoming trip to Europe. Since it includes European maps. I have been using it in Michigan to get used to it and I like it much better than my Tom Tom xl 350 TM. I live in a small town so I haven't had a chance to check out the digital traffic yet.
