Summary: We just received this GPS a few days ago and have been playing with it so we could get used to the features before we go out of town next month. This was purchased to replace a 10 year old Garmin that was impossible to update so it was time for a new one.
Summary: The unit operates without flaws, but the configuration of the screen and commands gets a bit confusing. Was traveling out of state and had a hard time finding how to switch states, you would think this is automatic. A steeper learning curve ahead. Otherwise, the unit is very responsive, screen is sharp, and a little sexier than previous units.
Summary: This is my 1st GPS and wanted something to help me thru new cities as I travel. Got lost a lot with paper maps and just had enough of it, so this is the one I got after reading a lot on GPS. Working around an airport I know the Garmin name and so this put me on to them. I just wanted something easy to use.
Summary: When my earlier model would not work any longer, I upgraded to this model. I do like it very much. The only negative is that sometimes it is harder to find the detour button when I am driving. know that it's a no no- but in heavy traffic on an interstate and we are stopped- I would like to be able to find the right exit before it is too late.

Summary: This is my second nuvi, with my first having been the original 350. Plus's for me would be the Lane Assist feature to make sure I'm where I should be when navigating highway interchanges. I sure wish Google Maps/Navigation had this feature. I wasn't sure I would find the traffic alerts very handy as I don't live in a large city, but they've helped me keep my sanity when driving in larger cities.
Summary: I was looking forward to using this product and was hopping that the product would be as good as it was rated. However, few issues disappointed me and hence the two star rating. 1. It takes a while to acquire satellite signal and to know where the device is. 2. It showed lanes (not sure if these were lanes) where there were none; this happened on my drive from Colorado Springs to Denver on I-25.
