Great value for the money if loaded with current updated to get started.

Summary: I bought this product for unexpected travel. I was sold on the ideal of free life time map updates and of course the reputation of GARMIN being a top rated brand. However, I did not know the current updated map for the product was not on the device and has to be down loaded. Not all of us elder ones can afford a computer on a fixed income or have need of a computer daily.
Summary: THIS GPS HAS VERY GOOD FEATURES. THE ONLY PROBLEM I FIND WITH THIS UNIT IS, THE VOLUME IS WAY TOO LOW AN IT CAN NOT BE RAISED HIGH ENOUGH FOR USEAGE IN A NOISY AREA. I THINK THE SPEAKER SHOULD BE MOUNTED ON THE FRONT, NOT THE BACK.
Summary: I emailed Garmin the following: Problem Description: I have an average of 15 stops a day on my route and i want to put them in at the beginning. when I voice command it says add to current route or start new route. I say current route but after speaking 2 or 3 destinations it starts a new route and stops asking for current route option. I also cannot figure it out manually. Besides this, I love my Garmin. thanks!
Summary: I just received my Garmin 2360LMT GPS. I connected it to the computer with the micro-USB cable that was included. Later I took it on the road, only to find out that the wrong vehicle power cable has been included. The end that is supposed to fit into the Garmin, is clearly different than the end that fit into it for use with my computer. I am hoping to find a way to have that replaced and not have to return the Garmin as it seems like a good one, and I am traveling soon.
Summary: Well, I am not going to write volumes since other people have pretty much expressed a lot about it. I will say this is my first GPS and I LOVE having one. I go on numerous trips and often arrive late at night in big cities I am unfamiliar with. It has saved me on numerous occasions. If you ever even wondered if a GPS could help, trust me, IT WILL. However, my biggest gripe is the voice recognition. I feel I enunciate well and that my grammar is good.
Summary: This is a good GPS unit but the Lane Assist is disappointing. It pops up for 3-4 seconds and disappears. I wish it stayed up until one exits the interaction. In addition, it did not included the 3-D maps. Speed limit indicators is useless as there is no audible norification.
Summary: I have an older Nuvi that I'm happy with but my wife (who thought GPSs were a childish waste of money when I bought our first one) wants one in both cars, so I decided to get the 2360LMT. For most people it is probably fine. For my use I have a third party program that puts a lot of data in Points of Interest that I use constantly.
Summary: I confess I have a bias towards Tom Tom GPS devices. Why? Because they allow more info to be put on the screen without robbing you of valuable map space as does this Garmin unit. I am also bored with Garmin's refusal to open the device so user-created themes, icons, etc. can be downloaded as you can do on most Tom Tom units. I find the 2360 to be a bit of a regurgitation of standard Garmin features; features that cry out for a more contemporary look and feel.
