Summary: Very good! Easier to view than previous models we've had. Very helpful on the road but these devices always seem to catch the glare of the sun and become hard to see. The updates aren't all that great; it must be hard to keep up with all the highway and by-pass changes. Another bothersome thing: instead of replacing a restaurant that has gone out of business, it might list a new business at that same address...and still keep the old one in addition.
Summary: Garmin GPS 2350 LT is really quite the product. My only problem is reading the manual and applying it to the product. Used it on a recent trip to San Diego. Boyohboy! Did it ever save us a gazillion times! We would have been truly lost without it! PUN intended! Although there are so very many areas in my own community that it does not know the short cuts, once we get on the right roads, 'Trudy" as we call her, 'recalculates' and we are OK!
Right Amount of Information; Slow Calculation Spped
16 July 2012
Summary: I bought this one to replace my eight year old GPS unit (it works about 10 minutes per week than would not pick up signal). Anyway, I am happy with this Garmin unit. It provides turn-by-turn in a list format, lane indication, trip information, traffic (no Ads) and other information. One thing I noticed its calculation speed is slower than my expectation/experience. I would say about 5 to 10 seconds slower.
Summary: I own a limo company and use this constantly! The traffic indicator could be a little better, but I think it will improve as time goes by. Tells you about stop light cameras and also where cops are known to use mobile radar units...very handy!! Love the Garmin!!
Summary: After reading other reviews, I was worried that there would be annoying ads popping up all the time. I've had the product for a month now, and I have yet to see an ad. I don't know what all the fuss is about! It is very user-friendly, but it still has a few small issues. For example, I live in an apartment complex right off of a freeway exit, but this GPS unit tells me to take a more complicated road (that doesn't even exist) to get home.
Summary: I reviewed the Garmin Nuvi 2350LMT on Amazon listed for $139.99. It was recommended by Consumers Report as a best buy. I put it on MY Wish list as I wanted to check and compare with other units. A day or so later I decided to by it, but by then the price was $149.99. That really left a bad taste and the lesson is no more My Wish list. I do not like this kind of marketing.
Summary: My unit could not find the street in Chicago where a recycle center is located. Also the traffic signal camera detector seems to work intermittently at best. On the whole it is still a good product.
Summary: I used a Garmin 765T for many years but the cost of updating the maps was only slighly less than buying a new unit so I opted to purchase this nuvi2360. Physically the units are similar so I can reuse the friction dash mount pad on the new unit. My only complaint is that the new unit is not as bright as the old one. The reason is that the color scheme frey streets on white background of the 765 is not among the choices for the 2360.
