Excerpt: See its totally dependent upon your wish that which navigator you would like to buy but I can just give you a basic idea of how to buy a gps navigator. First of all you have to think that what are your minimum necessary needs dependent on that only you can buy these kind of products. See according to me if your needs are too basic and you just want a general navigating system then you should buy products ranging from I should say 5000-10000.
Summary: I had to return the first one of these I purchased, as it froze and when downloading the maps update. Amazon were brilliant and sent a replacement within 3 days. It's a basic satnav and seems to do the job adequately, but I would ask yourself if you really need a satnav before you buy one. I know people who use them on their way to work - a journey they know and have done hundreds of times.
Summary: I have used it only a few times & it does the job. Not quite sure if I can download more voices as it only came with one English voice & other European voices. Its different than Tom Tom but cheaper as it was half price. Also it dosen't show traffic lights & I am not sure if they can be downloaded. You get one free map upgrade after purchase.
Summary: The Nuvi 215 generally is a good basic sat nav, especially if you need reliable Bluetooth built-In. However, on a number of occasions is fails to find a post code, so instead of simply entering the post code and clicking "GO" the device then wants a house number or street name, it then comes up with a list of destinations in for instance Birmingham, when the post code you have entered is in Wrexham! Post Codes are unique so why the 215 fails to find them is a mystery.
