The Garmin nüvi 205 is an in-dash navigation system with a colorful anti-glare touch screen display. This display sizes 3.5 inch and offers a resolution up to 320 x 240 pixels. The Garmin nüvi 205 incorporates Garmin "Where Am I?" emergency locator. This locater let drivers know their location at any time. It provides 2D/3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions functionality. By having HotFix™ satellite prediction feature, it is able to calculate drivers’ position in a shorter period. Furthermore, it comes together with preloaded City Navigator® NT map data for the contiguous U.S. or one European region/country. Additionally, it offers digital elevation maps that able to display shaded contours at higher zoom levels. As an added convenience, it accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as hotels, school zones and safety cameras. In terms of security, it is integrated with Gamin Lock anti theft system. Besides, it is equipped with SD card slot and USB connectivity to provide additional storage. It incorporates various travel tools, such as world travel clock with time zones, JPEG photo viewer, currency converter, measurement converter and calculator. It measures 3.8 x 2.8 x 0.8 inches in dimension and weighs 5.2 oz.
