Pros: The software is very user friendly. Easy to navigate through the menus.
Cons: The new maps take forever to upload. Once loaded the Directions it gives you on a trip are way off. The unit tried 4 times to send me up on ramp off the interstate. Also many other time trying to take me onto on coming traffic.
Pros: bought the Garmin a year ago. it worked great for the first year only.
Cons: after first year, Garmin started acting up - wrong directions, couldn't find streets, wrong mileage to destination, etc. Problems began exactly when new map updates were available - at an outrageous fee!
Summary: this doesn't have option to choice, and always make farer road to go,, i test few known street,, from home to office ... its just make you drive farer. don't know why. and the turns already need to make on right , the hint still saying KEEP LEFT,, KEEP LEFT,, don't know what that means......... very disappoint.. .. ..
Summary: Well having read the reviews my mind was made up to get the Gramin 200 widescreen and initally everything seemed fine, I liked the nice and easy layout and the pre-installed places of interest that were available. The first couple of weeks had me travelling locally and the Gramin worked fine, however I had need to travel from Leeds to Birmingham 2 weeks after I bought the Gramin and this is where I had problems.
