    Love the unit, but Garmin does not supply the USB chord for updates, and the fact that it deletes all files and will not operate if you do not purchase the $80.00 upgrade after two years is horrible. Read more

    I bought my Garmin Nuvi 200 second hand from a friend and it's getting on to be about 3 years old. I only use it on long journeys when I really don't know where I'm going and in those cases this little baby is indispensable. Read more

Garmin nüvi 200 is a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with a 3.5-inch QVGA TFT (320 x 240 pixels) antiglare touch screen and non-waterproof casing. Its features are high-sensitivity WAAS-enabled GPS receiver, turn-by-turn voice directions and Point of Interest. It is available in silver or pink.

Features

Garmin nüvi 200 leads the way with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. It is equipped with Points of Interest (POIs) database with hotels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and others. It is able to store up to 500 waypoints. It also accepts custom POIs such as school zones and safety cameras and allows user to set proximity alerts to warn user of the upcoming POIs. It is equipped with built-in memory and micro SD card slot. It has a non-user replaceable rechargeable lithium-ion battery which can provide up to 5 hours of battery life. It is also equipped with Garmin Lock which is a theft deterrent system that locks the device. It can be featured as a picture viewer to view pictures stored in the device or memory card. It is equipped with other features such as world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter and calculator. It is compatible with free Garmin Garage where user can download custom vehicles that show location on map. It has a USB interface for data loading. The standard package comes with preloaded City Navigator® NT data for the lower 48 states, Hawaii and Puerto Rico (no Alaska or Canada detail) or one European region or country, vehicle suction cup mount, vehicle power cable, dashboard disc and quick start manual. It measures 3.8 X 2.8 x 0.8 inches in dimension and weighs approximately 150g.
