Summary: I bought this 1450LMT as a gift for my ex wife, (yes we get along just fine). I have a 1490LMT, which is the exact same as the 1450 + Bluetooth. I've never used the Bluetooth and niether will she so the 1450 is a little cheaper and the way to go. The lifetime maps and traffic updates are great. It does everything I want it to do. If it ever acts a little strange just "reset" it which is very easy to do and its like new again.
Summary: With this GPS I don't get confuse and take the wrong exits or freeways anymore. It's very clear and tells you exactly which lane you should take and where to exit. The gps is very simple to understand and use. The screen is also a perfect size. Lovely GPS !
Summary: If you are looking for a GPS that has all you need for your trip go for this, there are others with more features but for any travel or commuting you don'nt need more than 1450 any of them. Best bang for your buck.
Pros: I bought this device last year and it has been wonderful. No issues and easy to customize.
Cons: USB port is now loose on it and my RMA is underway although I find it very annoying I get a refund of $119 ( as I originally paid), No replacement even though I bought the extended warranty. Now this device is $199, I can not afford to repurchase the same one with the refund I got.
Summary: We purchased this to replace our broken GPS system. Love this product because its very user friendly. The battery life is very reasonable. We also like the fun features you can download from the Garmin site.
Summary: Once I got to know how to operate everything this unit has been a real asset. I get the latest traffic updates and I avoid the traffic. It gives me my speed and the speed limit where I am. I'm discovering features I didn't know it had. Added an SD mini to increase info capacity.
