Summary: Bought this for a hire car and it is fantastic clear instructions and have since bought the lifetime updates so every few months link it to my pc and update. My son uses it in America and I purchased the us maps which instead of replacing the UK ones On the hard drive I installed them on the micro SD card. All you have to do is choose which maps in the menu.
Summary: When I got this I was expecting a decent sat Nav. Within two weeks big white lines appeared across the screen . It constantly freezes routes are very poor and it is slow to recalculate Some days it doesn't even work
Summary: Had this since Christmas 2012, has a tendency to take the 'pretty route' and country lanes but very easy to use, very quick to 're calculate' if you miss an exit or turn, and finds satellites very quickly, even in the middle of nowhere.
Summary: Came quickly in the post which was a bonus, turned on fine but straight away realised that it was not the one pictured!!!! this unit does not have the real view feature its simply the old school type of display. Then to make matters worsse I tried to update and register it, but even with every plugin available downloaded and installed it will still not be recognised on my laptop!!!! Very dissapointed.
Summary: Nice build quality and seems well constructed. Would have liked it to be more accurate than it is proving to be. Two journeys recently taken have mis-directed me, the return one to my home address, instructing me to make a right turn, where there hasn't been a right turn for over ten years !!! This is with the most recent maps having been installed. Having previously owned a Navman, I realise that Sat Navs are not infallible. I like the lane assist and junction views.
