Summary: The Nuvi 1370 is my second Garmin Nuvi product. The first is used exclusively for US travel and has performed very well. I have not encountered any issues downloading updated maps for this Nuvi. The Nuvi 1370 was purchased with the Europe map coverage.
Excerpt: I just returned from a trip to Holland, Germany and England. My new Nuvi 1370T worked flawlessly. It even corrected routes based on unforeseen traffic issues. I believe this feature is not available everywhere. I absolutely love this product!
Summary: I had no prior experience with GPS devices, and bought this Garmin for a driving trip in Europe based on reviews. That was the best decision I made for my trip. This little device performed wonderfully, and was absolutely essential to our trip.
Summary: I was most interested in this GPS for travel in Europe. I previously bought a GPS without Europe maps and the cost of downloading maps was more than returning the other one and it was much easier to have the maps included. We just finished a road trip in Spain and we were very happy with the Garmin.
Summary: I've had the 1370's earlier predecessor, the Nuvi 370, for over 2 years and have been very pleased with it. Yes, it can lead you down some pretty narrow roads in France, and occasionally route you back to your hotel a different way -- and it likes to take short-cuts, but in general it does quite...
Summary: We purchased the Garmin 1370T from Amazon as a replacement for another Garmin, the 265WT, which we had bought from Costco. We returned the 265 because of a sound problem -- the voice would constantly reset to an inaudible level.
Summary: This unit has been great! I would have never been able to get around in Italy if it were not for this. The only downside I found so far is that it tried to send me the wrong way down a short one-way street in Pompeii once. So make sure you watch the road signs as well.
Summary: We bought the 1370T specifically for the Europe maps. We took a 5-week trip to Ireland, England, France, Monaco, and Italy and used the GPS extensively. Please note that we used it for directions, food, hotels, gas, etc., but did not use the Bluetooth or Traffic elements.
Summary: I did some basic research about the model I want with the features. I needed something which has simple user interface and Bluetooth for phone integration. My car has a Bluetooth and I have paired my mobile phone with it, I needed something to pair my wife's iPhone so that while driving...
Summary: I have been using the 1370 in the US since January and recently for two weeks in France. It is a worthy successor to my cherished Nuvi 370 and has performed flawlessly. Ironically, I found more instances of lane assist in France than in North Carolina.
