Summary: I purchased GPS primarily fro Europe, it works flawlessly. Please note: make sure you update the firmware and maps prior to your trip because of obvious reasons updated maps and also GPS lock fixes.
Good product that will come in handy during travels to Europe.

Summary: My only disappointment is that this Garmin version does not announce the expected street name when approaching the turn. This has been an appreciated feature on our previous Garmin GPS models.
Summary: This is my first Garmin GPS. I used to have two Magellan ,and nothing to compare! Garmin is way better than the other brand, well built , and easy to use. Bought this Garmin because I had to travel to Europe, and I need it for driving directions.
Should use route nos. Pricey map updates. A must for international travel.

Summary: Used in USA, England, Germany, Austria, and Holland. Never got it to lock uo to satelite in England. Worked well in other countries. Real life saver. Audio steer Commands more useful than map. Garmin uses the least useful name for streets and routes. If it is HWY 75 in Dallas they will call it North Central Expressway. Fine if you live there. It gets worse when Garmi is giving you an english pronounciation of a German or Dutch local name.
Summary: We bought the Garmin nuvi 1370 because we were going to be traveling in Eastern Europe, where roads are not well marked, and maps are scarce. By and large, it worked well, but there were a few times in which it got confused, and tried to send us on non-existent streets. I suspect that the roads had been modernized somewhat, and the Garmin maps were not quite up to date. You still have to keep your wits about you, and think about what you are doing.
Summary: After our last trip to Europe, my wife indicated that she would not return to Europe unless we had a GPS for our rental car. I chose this unit upon the recommendation of a friend who had used it successfully. Since I got it only a few days before our trip, I was learning to use its features as we went along. It would have been good to know from the start what the difference between "fastest route" and "direct route" is.
