Summary: The first time I used it, it wanted to take me West instead of East. These are one way streets, fortunately I knew the way there. That was a bust. I thought I might have bought a dud. The rest of the time, only a few, it gave me the correct directions. Sometimes in a round about way, but it got me there. Doesn't tell traffic detours or construction. It does tell me to get into the proper lane for turning though.
Summary: I do like the product,it works as advertised. I did think it came with blue tooth. When it didn't I was disappointed, but it works well does what it was designed to do, get me places without a hassle. The build in voice is clear and gives directions in enough time to maneuver to turn or exit. The screen size is large enough to see without issue. I would recommend this GPS. Hope this is what you require.
Summary: I have owned this Garmin NUVI 1350T for several months now. I have used it many times in my car and it navigates well. There have been a few times that it became confused, but after I made the wrong turn the Garmin was able to get me back on track. I purchased this device with Lifetime Map updates. So today I am doing my first free map update. Had I known that the process would take more then 3 hours I would have done it on a day I had more time.
Summary: Very easy to use! It works well and I don't know how you'd find one better at this price. Let's you choose favorite places, voices, and mode of travel (faster, shorter, cheaper) very easily in the "tools" menu.
Summary: I have a more basic Nuvi and have been very satisfied with its intuitive operation so I decided to purchase another Garmin for my wife. I purchased the Nuvi 1350T because I wanted the traffic updates along with all the other features of a GPS. Although this feature does not always give me enough advance notice, it does provide some traffic information. Some reviews have warned that the pop-up ads are annoying, but I find them to be of little annoyance.
Summary: I came over from a Magellan that I had for 2 yrs which was quirky at times with directions...and expected more from Garmin. While the directions always seem to be pretty good (after 1 month of usage) It makes me miss my Magellan abit (which I thought I would never say). 1)The Traffic is very rarely correct in NYC (don't know about other cities) and many times does not show traffic alerts. If you live in NYC, do not buy this unit for the traffic updates.
Summary: From all research, this appeared to be a unit with a fair amount of bells and whistles. My previous experiences were with more basic, older units. The screen size is large enough to offer good visibility. No problems with the audio as others have reported. It is a little sluggish compared to older units when finding locations like stores and restaurants. Out of the box, the maps seemed a little outdated. I did an update and found no improvement.
Summary: Worked great except for the keyboard. Maybe it was my big fingers not the 1350T. When I would try to spell something on the search the letter would not come up on the board even when the key would turn blue indicating the letter was pressed but still would not come up on the screen. Other than this it's a great GPS. The lane assist was a life saver while driving in SF, CA.
