Would hesitate to purchase another Garmin product.

Summary: Unit that was sent to me was new but did not function properly as the touch screen did not respond without pushing each letter/number with a blunt instrument and severe pressure. Seller was very accommodating in securing a replacement that is usable but still not easy to operate.
Summary: I bought this one used - [for city navigation]- that was the problem. The maps included on it are out-of-date, and there are some problems with it. I'm speaking specifically about this used one - the new ones, same model, that I've used are terriffic, but this one must have been dropped, or had elec. problems. Battery also doesn't charge fully - my advice, spend a bit more, get a new one, the new ones work very well indeed. Not this one.
Summary: Garmin nuvi 1350T Review Garmin nüvi 1350T 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished) This is my second try at a Garmin GPS. I bought it based on all the good reviews here and my own feature-comparison research. Back in 2003 I purchased a Magellan Roadmate 700 and a comparable Garmin (I forget the model). I returned the Garmin. The Magellan had a better LCD screen and a more intuitive interface.
Cons: Couldn't find specific retail shop or on the other spectrum, the DMV under "DMV" or "Department of Motor Vehicles". The touch sensitivity was virtually non-existent and you must type in complete names to find something (i.e. no auto-complete functionality
Pros: Big screen. Some traffic reports. Voice directions
Cons: Not programmed to take into consideration traffic congestion in my area. Voice directions are often unintelligible and at times pronunciation is ludicrous. One cannot rely on it to get you from here to there quickly and with minimum hassle.
Summary: I'm really wishing that I had not given my 265w away when I sold my Toyota Sienna. This thing is JUNK !!! It is not Touch Sensitive at all....have to poke it numerous times to get it to react! The Traffic Alert goes off constantly for erroneous nothings...had to turn off the volume! Garmin! How can the Newer Product be Worse than the Old? ...how do you do that ????
Summary: The unexpected on-screen advertising really ruins the experience (pic uploaded). It's unexpected since it's not mentioned anywhere on the packaging. The tiny manual mentions it as a possible cost of "free" traffic info -- maybe it's only in certain regions. In scanning the small-print on the packaging, I noticed that the "lifetime" updates can end at any time depending on their suppliers.
