Summary: Overall I really like this GPS and find it easy to use to navigate. It is very clear about directions both with audio and a nice map. I especially find the map easy to understand what it wants me to do at a glance, unlike my old GPS.
Summary: Pros: Lifetime maps and traffic. A lot of old and new features. Route avoidance and re-routing. User friendly. Cons: It took the first time about 15 minutes to find its location. It always takes a long time to find its location. Sometimes it even doesn't know!
Summary: Comments about Garmin NUVI 1350: I probably use the Garmin more for local areas that I am unfamilar with. It is also great for finding the shortest route when I travel long distances. The speed limit indicator is very helpful when you enter the road and there is no speed limit sign.
Pros: Acquires Satellites Quickly, Compact, Easy Menus, Easy To Read, Easy To Set Up, Large Screen, Reliable Performance, Screen size is excellent, Simple Controls, Speed Limit is great
Summary: I purchased this for the traffic capabilities, an upgrade from my nuvi 260W. I haven't tried that out yet but realize that the accuracy depends upon the local reports, not nuvi. The two are very similar. The software works slightly different but it's no problem to figure out.
Summary: I'm just a country boy and usually hate to try to get around in a city. I've only had a few opportunities to use my Garmin 1350, but it seems to do the trick. I enjoy myself a lot more in heavy traffic now that I don't have to spend so much time and effort reading signs.
Summary: This is my first GPS ever, but I still find it to cover all my needs. Easy to use, decent battery life (although I mostly use it with car charger anyway) and maps seem relatively accurate & up to date. The only problems I have had: 1) This GPS sometimes sends you up the wrong way of a one way road.
Summary: After a mind numbing week of seeking the best GPS for my 1st purchase I decided on the 1350t. The price point on the 1350t, 765t, 855, 760, 265wt were all very similiar. My final decision came after calling Garmin and talking with Customer service.
Summary: Calibrate the touch screen: Hold pressing the screen's upper left corner and press power on. After boot up is done, let go of the pressing, and you will see dots which you have to press. Press all the dots, and screen calibration is complete. My first unit's touch screen was terribly off.
