  • Summary: Pros: Lifetime maps and traffic. A lot of old and new features. Route avoidance and re-routing. User friendly. Cons: It took the first time about 15 minutes to find its location. It always takes a long time to find its location. Sometimes it even doesn't know!

TopBlizz, pcRUSH.com
30 September 2010
  • Summary: Comments about Garmin NUVI 1350: I probably use the Garmin more for local areas that I am unfamilar with. It is also great for finding the shortest route when I travel long distances. The speed limit indicator is very helpful when you enter the road and there is no speed limit sign.
  • Pros: Acquires Satellites Quickly, Compact, Easy Menus, Easy To Read, Easy To Set Up, Large Screen, Reliable Performance, Screen size is excellent, Simple Controls, Speed Limit is great

A Previous Tom Tom User

Ms. Periwink, Amazon
2 September 2010
  • Summary: I have had 2 Tom Tom-Go GPS units and have been reasonably happy with this brand. My first Tom Tom Go lasted less than a year at which point it lost its "mind" in the LL Bean parking lot, uttering, "Turn, turn, turn." The 2nd Tom Tom lasted 2 years when it suffered screen damage.

A Great Value

Librarian, Amazon
25 July 2010
  • Summary: I purchased the Nuvi 1350 when my old Garmin IQM5 GPS/PDA combo started getting glitchy. I'm very pleased with the unit, for the price. The screen is clear and easy to read, it finds the satellites quicky, it recalculates almost immediately, the voice is better and clearer than on a more pricey...

New Nuvi 1350, compared to its older brothers

Toxey M. Morris "Toxey", Amazon
19 March 2010
  • Summary: Do lock your car , garage, and house. In 2 yrs, I have lost a 205W, a 255w, and a friend had one lifted out of the house by service personnel. I replaced my 255 with a 1350 about a month ago at the insistence of my patient wife, whose sense of direction is remarkable, and who avoids electronic...

Bret Metzler, Amazon
26 December 2009
  • Summary: After a mind numbing week of seeking the best GPS for my 1st purchase I decided on the 1350t. The price point on the 1350t, 765t, 855, 760, 265wt were all very similiar. My final decision came after calling Garmin and talking with Customer service.

Good GPS with annoyances

Maggie Essington, Amazon
26 December 2009
  • Summary: Overall I really like this GPS and find it easy to use to navigate. It is very clear about directions both with audio and a nice map. I especially find the map easy to understand what it wants me to do at a glance, unlike my old GPS.
