  • Summary: I had owned many GPS units and find Garmin is tough and well made but lacks some finer features like better look up of spelled POA's and ease of lifetime map downloads e.g.

  • Summary: I like by Garmin, The voice is very smooth and the features help me get around easily. I really like the features that help me be more efficient in my driving and economical overall. This was a refurbished model and it came looking brand new and after updating the software, has performed flawlessly.

Discounted GPS with lots of freebies!! Well worth the money !!!

  • Summary: I bought this because I travel every so often and I am not good at directions. This is an awesome little gps unit. Only bad is updating the unit. Make sure you got a fast internet connection and lots of time to kill. Preferably 2-4 days. Yes..., Garmins servers are extremely slow when it comes to downloading to your GPS unit. Make sure you get all map updates, software updates, and don't do like me and expect the whole 48 continental US map to fit on it either.

  • Summary: I bought this because I really wanted a GPS device and I think it is really practical. The next morning went on a roadtrip to Chicago with no problem at all. So simple to use and gave me reason to doubt it all through the trip and back. I even use it to drive to areas of Boston and that I have not been to in a while as well as the North Shore for places that I have never been to.

  • Summary: I bought this to replace my TomTom One which I loved but lost. The only reason I switched to Garmin was because it says the street names. For example, it says, "Turn left onto Main Street" instead of "Turn left in .2 miles". I LOVE that feature, but I still miss the TomTom's voice, which sounded more natural. The Garmin has a great "detour" button if you don't like the road you're on. That saved me once.

OK for the price.

  • Summary: I bought 2 of these. I bought one for each of my cars and as a replacement for one older model. They are fairly easy to set up but loading map updates is a huge pain since both won't update from the Lifetime Updater - one has to be downloaded directly from Garmin's website (Garmin acknowledges this problem - big deal; it needs to be fixed). One unit freezes up from time to time (Garmin says they're working on this).

  • Summary: This Garmin GPS is a great product. I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect when I got it. Pleasantly surprised. What cracks me up is the pronunciation of the streets. Makes me laugh. It does sometimes take you a bit out of the way, but it gets you there. I wish there was a battery meter on it so you can tell when it's getting low. To solve this I just turn the unit off and on and then it shows you temporarily. Not a big deal.

  • Summary: I bought 3 1350 LMT one for me,wife and daughter. I am on the road most of the time. It is amazing how it knows where I am all the time in fact it's almost scary how accuate it is. Do yourself a favor and download the online manual so you won't miss any of its features.
