Excerpt: I recently rented a car at Logan Airport and I added the optional GPS because I had heard so many horror stories about driving in the Boston area. The GPS made my experience so much easier than anticipated that I bought one after I came home.
Summary: Wao, what a great experience with this product. This is my second Garming Nuvi, I love it because is so precise and easy tho handle. Excellent screen daily and /or night time. Recommended 100%. Great buy for the price.
Summary: After loading it, it died twice and had to be restarted to work. As a longtime "Wild Flower Production" user, I thought there would be significant up grades and improvements. There weren't. Loading maps into the GPS is easy. When I tried to print a map, even though I pulled up a print preview, 3/4 of the page was a gigantic picture of their logo. I don't need to see their logo on my map out in the field.
Summary: I have an older Streetpilot 2610, which I have used for years as a motorcycle GPS, it's waterproof, and accurate, but difficult at times to enter an address and have the GPS unit find the address. Street, is sometimes spelled out, sometimes "St." other times the directions are abbreviated, and sometimes spelled out. It also can't be updated past the 2009 maps. The Nuvi 1300LT gps was something I got for free as a gift on a loan.
Summary: Miss my lane assist, also doesn't tell me the posted speed limit. Also doesn't have cautions for going over the speed limit. Otherwise have large lettering and easy to see, has several options for voice. Is fast in getting my directions.
