Summary: Unit works good but the mapping software is out dated found some new roads that have opened in the last two or three years and are not on the software. Forward this to Garmin and tell them if the sell A product as new the mapping software should be current also.

Summary: I've been using this unit almost since it first became available. This is my first GPS and I've been thrilled to have a GPS as it is a great time saver and stress reducer. But this unit has a few problems. First, it becomes unresponsive and needs to be reset regularly. This is just a matter of pressing the reset button on the bottom and waiting for it to reboot. But what an annoyance. Second, the suction mount falls off the windshield almost every day.
Summary: Garmin, a pioneer in the GPS industry, has ceased to be an innovator. In order to appear as the premium product they've used the time-honored technique (learned from restaurants no doubt) of demanding a premium price. I've had the device for several months and have several observations. pros: It does the job of GPS navigation admirably. Summary: Overall, I would give this device a 3.5 stars. Pros 1. Display is larger than most handheld GPS, which is nice. 2. You can find most of your point of interests, though it does not contain the nursery that I go to often. 3. Speaker on included car adapter works well and the voice is clear. 4. GPS is one of those useful gadgets, adding PDA makes it even better. 5. Good battery life. 6. Lots of other goodies like playing mp3 and bluetooth. Cons 1.
