Summary: Bought this for both fishing and hunting. I use it to mark fishing hot spots successfully. Also used for marking my trails into big woods for deer hunting. Can easily navigate in the dark using this unit. Love it
Summary: We use this GPS unit on our boat, and are very satisfield with its performance out on the water. We use the default maps which came with the unit. This product works well, but the default maps are not detailed and key roads are missing and are often mislabelled.
Summary: I bought this GPS (my 4th Garmin Handheld GPS) thinking it would be an upgrade from my eTrex Legend Cx, which I've had for several years. In some ways it was an upgrade. The bigger screen is nice.
Summary: I had an older GPS unit that always lost the signal in the trees. I finally upgraded and now I am very happy with the GPS. I do not need a lot of fancy features but have found the features of this unit helpful.
Summary: Not sure where to start.. This GPS is withought doubt the best I have used or seen. It amazes me the options it provides, not to mention the accuracy of the reciever. With a little time it becomes user friendly in it's functions. Mapping, a whole different challenge.
Summary: I am commenting again after a few months of use. This is a great device if you want to use it to replace an Etrex. It is costly because you have to buy the maps and they are used on a single garmin-software-computer tuple. You apparently need another if you want to use another computer.
Summary: I bought this unit for geocaching and I'm really happy with it. So far it has given me no problems, the only thing that I could ask for is better maps in place when i perchased the unit. Not happy with the thought of having to spend another $100 on a map card or dvd for this.
Be Careful about buying this, you may not be able to use it.

Summary: When I got this I installed the accompanying software, Trip and Waypoint Management, which is supposed to update the built in maps. The software installed, but would not run. This alerted me immediately to problems.
It got me to Guatemala and back and I only got lost a couple times!

Summary: I did some research before settling on the 60Cx. I wanted something that was mulit-purpose and rugged and this fit the bill. I didn't need the extra features of the CSx so it made sense to get this one. When I first got it it took a bit to get used to how it worked.
Summary: I recently received my 60cx from Amazon, and after putting it through its paces, I am extremely impressed with it. I had the older GPSMAP 60c as well, and did some comparisons between the two. Garmin's not kidding when they say this receiver is more sensitive.
