Summary: The Garmin GPS 10 works well with my Delorme mapping on my laptop. Good battery life. Only complaint is that I need to enter the GPS code each time I connect. Probably a setup error on my part but I cannot figure out how to change this. Other wise a great unit.
Summary: Acquires satellites extremely fast and works great with my Palm TX for paperless geocaching. I can recharge it in my truck or connect it with a USB cable to my computer and charge it that way as well.
Summary: Works great, connects with ease and I would recommend this to all my friends who are not good with directions. Cant wait to use it for trips. I use it for places I havent been too and it gets me there.I also use TomTom Navigator 6 software on my phone to get turn by turn directions spoken to me.
Summary: I am very pleased with my purchase. It works good with the IPAQ 211 and mapping software. three weeks ago and The Garmin 10's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good roughly 8 hours. Overall, I'd recommend this GPS unit.
Summary: I bought this to try to get my daughter's smartphone to work as a GPS navigator for her car as well. I may have to reconsider that idea. The receiver itself works just fine; it fired up as supposed to, aquired the satellites quickly and synced with the smartphone just fine.
Summary: This is HARDWARE ONLY. NO GPS SOFTWARE is included, although the information lists compatibility with Laptops, Pocket PCs, Palm PDAs and Smartphones. They're *compatible* IF you already have GPS software installed on them.
Summary: Saludos compañeros!
