Summary: A very expensive watch and disappointed as automatic upload to garmin connect does not work. I cannot even contact garmin support to log an issue with the website returning errors every time I log on. Starting to wonder why I have been supporting garmin so much to date as it seems that the watch was released when it is still very unreliable judging from my own experience and others on line.
Summary: Even though expensive, it's worth it. I had the 305cx model previously and was fairly happy with that. I did find that the 305cx model was sometimes slow to lock and the data, when displayed on garmin connect, was glitchy. The 620 has addressed these issues. The added metrics (cadence, vertical oscillation, Ground Contact Time) are excellent and can help you pinpoint area to improve your running technique.
Summary: The main reason I decided to upgrade from the 610 to 620 was to be able to upload the workouts without having to go through the tedious cycle of booting the computer, plugging in the ANT adapter and waiting for it to sync with the Forerunner. I have tried both the Wi-fi and the Bluetooth (through the iPhone) and they worked fine.

Summary: I just purchased the Garmin Forerunner 620 at Amazon.com a couple days ago. I also set up a Training Plan at Garmin Connect, and then tried to download the Calendar of workouts to my watch. I got the following error message: "No device found that supports Scheduled Workouts." I wasted hours performing the required set-up (multiple times!): installed the Garmin Connect Plugin - tried Firefox and Safari browsers - failure with both.
Summary: Plan and simply put. If you like to run and want to take it to the next level this is your watch! The watch along with the garmin connect training plans you are sure to improve your running. I am not the techno person in our house and I didn't even have to ask my husband to help me with the set up or the functions of the watch. It doesn't come with a manual (lots of things don't anymore) BUT it is on line and I printed it and had no problems.
Summary: After using this watch for a week, the battery died and would not recharge. I took the watch to my local Garmin shop and was told the charger cradle was corroded. How can a new product that has been used 3 times be corroded? Very disappointed.
Summary: I finally broke down and replaced my old Garmin Forerunner 201. I decided to go all out and buy the top of the line Garmin with all the bells and whistle after debating whether the extra money it costs over other units was worth it or not. I have used the unit for only a few runs at this point, mostly on the treadmill. My initial thoughts are that the overall capability of the unit is as described. Setup is easy. The touch screen works well so far.
