Summary: The software that is used to track your activities is extremely frustrating. I would say near useless, however if you are willing to wait for your data to load and tolerate all of the glitcheness, your activities will eventually load...
Summary: It almost makes me sad that I've had so many Garmin wrist worn GPS's over the years. I've seen pretty much everything and I keep coming back to this one. Why? It just works. And it works WELL.
Finicky software, Garmin will no longer be providing updates for this product.

Summary: Just a few things to be aware of with this watch: the wireless upload software can be finicky. The ANT stick for a period required a separate driver, then was integrated into Garmin Express, then the bugs with this integration were fixed.
Summary: I love it, for running. I use a Garmin Edge 500 for cycling and would occasionally take it with me on runs. This year I am focused on Triathlons and needed a good multi sport watch. I've been running with the watch for the last month and absolutely love it.
Summary: Since my 305 broke recently, i thought i'd buy the 310XT. It's waterproof and has some additional features. So i thought it would be an ideal replacement. The first problem i had was that it would give inaccurate speed readings. Like 38MPG when the fastest i can pedal is about 15MPH.
Summary: My brother cycles a lot and recommended this. Negatives Big Not sure I would trust in water Does not have an auto power down function. Positives You can set it up with your ANT USB / STRAVA / Garman connect, so just leave it near your computer for 30 seconds and it upload (no cords!
