    • Good battery life, Easy to see while running (big clear screen), accurate GPS, easy too use buttons, good functions and screen options
    • Can't use as a regular watch. Problems with data transfer. Sometimes has trouble finding satellites but better than older models.

Forerunner 310XT

The Forerunner 310XT is a waterproof multi-sport GPS-enabled fitness device. The unit provides up to 20 hours of battery life and comes bundled with a waterproof, soft-strap heart rate monitor. The Forerunner 310XT features wireless connectivity and syncs wirelessly through ANT+™ technology with Garmin heart rate monitors and foot pods. It is also compatible third-party fitness equipment and power meters, and the user’s PC or Mac for automatic data download. The Forerunner 310XT is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters, and allows for adaptation from wrist to bike with the optional quick release and bike mounts. The unit features a large display with intuitive buttons that provide an interface without sacrificing space on the customizable data screens. The Forerunner 310XT also features audible signals and/or vibration alerts.

Features

The 310XT tracks speed, distance and location, as well as show heart rate-based calorie computation. The Forerunner 310XT can also be used with an optional, streamlined foot pod that can fit on laces or under certain shoes’ insoles, and also features high-sensitivity GPS receiver with HotFix™ that acquires and sustains satellite reception. It also features an optional speed/cadence bike sensor that helps cyclists monitor their pedaling cadence and wheel speed. The featured ANT+ technology allows the 310XT to send workout data to the user’s PC or Mac via automatic wireless data transfer. This will allow users to log their workouts, track their totals, set goals, share workouts with coaches, friends and family and participate in an online fitness community at Garmin ConnectSM.
