Overall a great product! Great feature list for a very reasonable cost.

Summary: This is one of the earlier Garmin multi-use units, but is a very good value and gives excellent bang-for-the-buck. A little overwhelming at first, the user manual is well written and tthe user is able to navigate through and learn to use all of the features of this device relatively quickly. Some users will find the ob-board map display to be lacking and underwhelming. Personally I didnt view this as an issue as there was more than enough information presented.
Summary: I LOVE MY NEW GARMIN FORERUNNER!!!! This watch has unleashed my running interest and allows me total freedom in where I run, knowing that the distance/time/pace will be tracked. No more riding around in the car afterwards to try to calculate my mileage or trying to paste together my route online. I use a run-walk-run strategy for long runs and I set up my Garmin to beep at my scheduled intervals. It's great. I no longer have to carry and monitor a stop watch.
Summary: This was a gift for my wife. She is an avid runner. Aside from the size of the device, she loves it. She was able to get it up and running quickly, figure out how to use it for her training and now takes in on all runs and walks. It logs data well. The only drawback I can see is that you need to power it up about 5 minutes before your planned activity so that it can find the satellites. That takes a minute or two. Overall, I would buy this again.
Summary: This was one of my best purchases on Ebay. The watch was better than expected. Before I was training with a stop watch and mapping out my run on maps.com. Now I just run, watch my pace and go until I run the miles scheduled. I'm training for a marathon and this is by far the best training aid a runner can have. Overall size of watch seems big but I have small wrists. With the size, I can read the times alot easier than a normal watch.
Summary: This is a must for any runner who runs several days a week outside. I have been using this to train for a marathon. It has been phenomenal to keep track of pace while running as well as distance. You can upload your run to a computer and get a lot of data for each run. I use it to see how accurate my phone gps is and unfortunately the phone is not as accurate as the GPS.
Summary: I have had the Garmin 305 sports watch now for more than a month now. It works very well and I have been able to track my runs. I downloaded the program on my home computer and when I finish a week or so of runs I download them from the watch to the computer. I am able to see what my ideal running pace is. I have not been able to figure out quite yet some of the advanced things it can do, but I am slowly learning.
Summary: This is a great tool... I find it motivates me to get out and continue to push myself. If you have ever tried following a workout routine and notice the minute you think no one is paying attention, it's ok to slow the treadmill down, or "take a break" you know that it is human nature to take it easy. Since I got this "watch" I've been outside making neat patterns all over the area .
Summary: I got the Garmin Forerunner 305 for triathlon training. So far, I have use it on the run and bike. I like the feature where you can upload your training stats to Garmin Connect for training analysis. For $150 ($165 w/ tax), this is such a great deal. I am using the Garmin Forerunner 305 to help me to run faster and farther.
