Do not waste your money on the Garmin Forerunner 210. Find something else.

Summary: I have used the Garmin Forerunner 210 for over a year, and regret every penny of the $200 I spent on it. I wish I had returned it immediately. I would not recommend the Garmin Forerunner 210 for the following reasons: 1) The battery life is terrible. Even after being put away on a full charge, the battery life drains away within a few days. Take it out for your next run, and no luck if you haven't kept it plugged in and charging the night before.
Summary: I loved my Garmin for about a year; thought it seemed unnecessarily difficult to align the buttons to charge and to download the information, it seemed to work well and gave so much great feedback and info. Sadly, it no longer works at all. Sometimes it's on, then the screen goes dead with no warning. It does this even while connected to power supply.
Summary: Battery lasts about half a day, needs to be charged every day even when not enabling the GPS function. After 6 months the watch doesn't charge and can't be used. Needs to be reset and rebooted frequently. Has been problematic from the start. Do not recommend this watch.
Summary: This is the second Garmin I have purchased and this model was extremely disappointing. My first Garmin lasted several years and I felt it was time to upgrade. I purchased it to track some of my longer runs and the battery dies within 6 hours. I was frustrated with the short battery life and the difficulty in matching up the four prongs (just right) so that it would charge.
Summary: This is my third Gramin watch and will probably be the LAST! This watch has been so disappointing I just can't find any reason to recommend it. The biggest problem is the satellite connection. If the watch is left in an empty field with a clear sunny sky it MIGHT find the satellites in 5 minutes. But if there is a building or a tree anywhere near good luck.
Summary: No good, keeps shutting down and can be a pain to restart. Don't have time for that nonsense. HR monitor quit after a few months and replaced with the older style strap thinking it would be more dependable. Works for first couple of minutes then keeps reading HR way to high. I know my HR doesn't go in to the 250's. When you spend this kind of money on a sports watch you would think you would get a better quality watch.

Summary: ORDER #113-4997329-5226640 I received the watch and i flew to Colombia the same day (i did not opened it or checked it). when I arrived to Colombia I tried the watch and discovered it was not working. initially i though the watch was broken. I had to visit a local GARMIN store and ask for international warranty, but I was told that local store does not cover international warranty because it is a franchise (i do not understand).
Summary: When I first received the product, I noticed it would not display the calories burned after each use. After researching other reviews, I saw this was a common problem which I was willing to overlook. However, after a couple weeks of use, the product would not reset after each use, nor would it shut down properly. In the end, I returned the product.
Summary: If you already purchased and can't return or would like to try my work-around, go to last paragraph... I should have read the reviews first, but like others thought the reported trouble with the charging/data USB cable were due to inexperienced users. WRONG! The charging/data USB cable clamp fails to bring all of the contact points into contact with their corresponding contacts on the back of the watch.
Summary: You would think that after all these years Garmin would figure-out the basics, design a watch that has the basic functions and has reliability. Also customer support would not be a bad idea either. None of those things here on the Forerunner 210, randomly cuts off with no display and no pushing of any buttons brings it back to life. Then just as randomly the display returns in a couple of days. Email customer support but nothing here either, just as random as the watch.
