Summary: Don't know what I would do without this watch! The first one I had was the best thing my boyfriend ever bought me! I used it forever so when it finally wore out I just could not see myself running without another one!
Summary: Nice watch, but a bit big for a small wrist. I put a sweatband under it so it doesn't flop around. Nice features. Like the pace and distance alerts. So far it has held up well in the rain. Screen can be a bit had to read at times. Nice watch for the price. I bought a refurb and have had no problems so far. Have used it in many races.
Summary: I just received this product and love it! I cannot believe all of the features, routes, workout schedules, heart monitor, GPS, and downloadable CD to track and sync with the unit. The charger is easy to use and charges completely in 2 hours. I'm running a marathon in two weeks, and plan to have this on my arm every step of the way.
Difficulty charging the Garmin Forerunner 205 and can't replace the battery.

Summary: You cannot replace the battery which goes bad in a couple years. After about 3 months the Forerunner 205 would not lock into the charging cradle. For awhile I got by with using the strap to keep it locked onto the charging cradle and charging. Then the strap broke and I replaced the strap and couldn't get it locked onto the charging cradle with the new strap, so I got a heavy duty rubber band and used that to lock it to the charging cradle.
A great GPS watch for competitive runners who like to track lots of data.

Summary: I love this for running. The display is clear and easy to read. The watch is lightweight and fits nicely on my wrist. There are many great features and lots of data to track...current pace, average pace, best pace, lap data. I love the virtual partner when I want to do a tempo run. I set the pace and distance or pace and time and take off. It does not have a heart rate monitor.
Summary: I have only been using this GPS for a couple of weeks but so far, I am very happy with it. I use it for Running and Horseback Riding (not crazy about the "Other" icon, but oh well...). I am just starting to run again and find that the constant feedback really helps me stay motivated and focused. The flexibility of being able to modify the data fields is great. I can see what I want, when I want.
Summary: The Forerunner 205 watch is my lifeline, whether I'm doing easy runs, long marathon training runs or speedwork. I love it so much, I bought a 2nd watch when I saw a good price on it around the holidays. The 1st watch has lasted 4 years and is still going strong, although the battery life has drained enough where I must keep it on the charger between runs. For me, it's not too bulky like some people claim.
Summary: The Forerunner 205 has been a perfect training companion. I am a competitive runner and love being to tell at a glance what my current and overall pace per mile is. I went with the 205 rather than the smaller 405 model because I can set up 4 screens of data at a glance (previous 2 mentioned along with total time and number of miles) without having to mess with changing the settings while I am running.
