Summary: Bought this GPS for my husband, who is an avid road and mountain biker. He uses it almost daily, and is really pleased at how great it is for keeping track of his workout and routes. Was easy to mount on his bike and charges quickly.
Summary: I bought this for my husband. So far he says: *For the price you are getting an amazing set of tools that work great. Yeah it's older technology so the screen resolution is not as high as items currently on the market but really do you need that on a bike?
Summary: I'm a mountain bike fan and enjoy riding using a GPS. I've had some other GPSs in the past but none of them have surpassed my expectations as the Garmin Edge 705 did. Easy to use, quick in calculating routes, very accurate. Bottomline, it's awesome.
Summary: The 705 with options has exceeded my expectations. It's changed the way I train. Coupled with Strava and rideswithgps sites and it's a very powerful tool. Suggest a 3rd party cover/protection or dummy cord system especially if you mtb in low light conditions (I find myself worried that it pops off...
Works on the trainer as well as on the road. Great for physical therapy / recovery.

Summary: I was hit by a car in October 2010 and am currently going through physical therapy and rehabilitation. I can't go cycling until at least January 2012, but I can ride my for 30 minutes a day as part of my physical therapy.
Summary: Last summer I received a Garmin Edge 705 cycling computer as a gift. I don't use the heart rate monitor so I use it identically to the Garmin Edge 605. The learning curve is quick, and it has become how I ride. On the site [..
Summary: My husband was delighted to get this newer version of the Garmin. He enjoys all of its features as do his friends who own the same item. He has been riding for about 7 years now and likes to know his heart rate and record the route. The color is an added plus.
Summary: The Garmin Edge 705 is one of the best GPS units I have ever owned. The unit was easy to mount ( I have mounted it on both of my bikes), and can also be used in a car. It's easy to set up, has multiple display settings to customize how you see your workout or current location.
