Summary: Don't think this is semi navi. According to it I-80 in NE ,US-35 in OH, most of the truck stops exits, and so on are no trucks . And of course it brought me to low clearence without any warning. I-70 in st Louise is missing. Of course garmin is in contract with tolls. It suggests that you have to drive 80 miles more just to make sure you will any toll. But i have to admit, that gps is the lesser evil.

Summary: This is an upgrade from my Nuvi 765. I use it mostly in my Motorhome. I did get this version rather then the more expensive RV model (same unit, but more RV destinations) because for the extra money, I can get the info from other sources. It comes with lifetime map upgrades and can be hooked to Garmin's Basecamp for trip planning or it will figure the trips out for you on the unit itself.
Excerpt: Bought this Model around 4 Months ago don't like it as it keeps sending me up unsuitable roads for an 18 ton truck Even sent me 8 miles down a road that when I got half way down sign said unsuitable for HGVs .it was terrible got to destination after 8 miles & spoke to another driver and told him about the road I came down and he pointed me to another road to get back to main road & the customers premises I had left 8 miles ago was only half a mile away Totally mad.
Summary: Though I am not the one using it, I heard from my husband that this is a wonderful machine. The convenient side for this product is that it can calculate the mileages compliant to IFTA tax filing requirements.

Summary: I truly wish this was a useful tool. I really really do. For almost $400! Smh... Money wasn't an issue, if it actually did what it was supposed to do.The updates mean absolutely nothing. It still will not know what streets are for trucks. It will not navigate you from point A to B in the fastest or shortest route using the correctly approved truck roads. It's just not going to happen. It'll send you to the moon and back 1st.
