Summary: I've been studying the Dezl 560LMT since it came out in trying to decide which new GPS to upgrade to. But in talkiing to Garmin tech support today I learned something about the Navteq mapping database used in all Garmin units that I didn't know before.
Summary: Works great on the intrastate highways but when you travel on state or county roads trucking info is very limited. Does not tell bridge heights, bridge limits, or weight station locations on state or county highways.
Summary: I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY FIANCE AND EVEN THOUGH HIS COMP SYSTEM HAS DIRECTIONS FOR HIM TO FOLLOW IT WILL TAKE HIM UNDER LOW BRIDGES. THE GARMIN STEERS CLEAR OF THEM (MOST OF THE TIME) IT DID TRY TO TAKE HIM IN THE LINCOLN TUNNEL ONE TIME IN NY. BUT 99% OF THE TIME IT IS WHAT HE RELIES ON.
Summary: Not into lengthy reviews so here ya go. This does what its supposed to do. I have been using it for 2 months now and I run routes from Ohio down thru Va. , WV. , N.C. , back up thru Tenn. ,KY. IN. IL. Iowa and MN. doesn't work perfect every time but it does what I want it to do.
Summary: I was disapointed with this GPS, I have had Garmin GPS's for years. I ordered this dezl 560 LMT as an upgrade to my 460T since it was larger, had more volume and a " camper " mode. Unfortunately in the camper mode it does not have a labeling option for carrying compressed gasses ( propane ).
Summary: this is my 3rd garmin. first was the 350 then the 465t now the 560lmt! garmin, what can i say! been driving for 27 years and the last 5-7 garmin has made it sooooo easy. just keep getting better. well here it goes:PRO-- its a garmin to start, CON--only one thing, way to slow when it recalibrates!
