Summary: I got this so that I would quit eating my data and battery on my iPhone. Frankly, I hate this gps. The screen is too small. It's also not easy to get going with and set up. The set up is a huge challenge, especially since the owners manual only comes on disk.
Summary: We were disappointed in the product because after we purchased it, we found out that maps were not available for it. Really, why have a GPS for sale with no maps available? Seems silly to me. So, we returned it and bought the Dakta 20.
Summary: Ease of Use Gave it 2 star mainly for the screen resolution and brightness. The maps look ok, once I purchased a 24K map, but the menu and text is VERY grainy. Text font is hard to read. Even with the brightness turned up all the way its very hard for me to read the screen.
Summary: Warning: despite the name "Bike and Hike Bundle" this device does NOT work with the Garmin cycling accessories like Speed/Cadence sensor and Heart Rate strap. They crippled it. The next model up, the Dakota 20, DOES work with the bike add-ons (but is not offered in the "bike and hike" bundle).
Summary: disappointed with this chunks or road network missing tried to contact garmin all I got was a confermation e mail and on there web site there seems to be know way to fix it WOULD NOT BUY GARMIN AGAIN OR RECOMEND THEM I THINK I HAVE BROUGHT A PIG IN APOKE
Summary: I use this device for Geocaching, and there are 2 big faults with it,1 geocache co-ords can not be deleted only over written and you can not place your name and address on the start up page should you loose the device, both these things could be achieved on my 10 year old Garmin Gecko, progress?
