Summary: I got this so that I would quit eating my data and battery on my iPhone. Frankly, I hate this gps. The screen is too small. It's also not easy to get going with and set up. The set up is a huge challenge, especially since the owners manual only comes on disk.
Summary: We were disappointed in the product because after we purchased it, we found out that maps were not available for it. Really, why have a GPS for sale with no maps available? Seems silly to me. So, we returned it and bought the Dakta 20.
Summary: I use this device for Geocaching, and there are 2 big faults with it,1 geocache co-ords can not be deleted only over written and you can not place your name and address on the start up page should you loose the device,both these things could be achieved on my 10 year old Garmin Gecko,progress?
Summary: I used Dakota in open sea canoeing and in hiking. The user interface was a little bit hard to learn, but I could manage. Mountain bikers have gathered an excellent map information for Garmin - and its free for all users.
